Strengthen Oklahoma Homes (SOH) Program
The Oklahoma Insurance Department's OKReady program offers grants to homeowners aiming to upgrade their roofs to the FORTIFIED™ standard, enhancing resilience against severe weather. Eligible applicants can receive up to $10,000, paid directly to contractors upon project completion. To qualify, homeowners must:
- Reside in Oklahoma and own a primary, single-family home in good repair.
- Hold active homeowners and wind insurance policies; flood insurance is required if located in a designated flood zone.
- Obtain an evaluation from a certified FORTIFIED™ Evaluator approved by the program.

Fortified Standards
